This Amsterdam East staple, named improbably after an industrial town in Lille, occupies an old domestic science school. The unusual venue, which now resembles a vintage-chic canteen, turns out French/Flemish cooking in the ‘Nouveau Ruig’ style (i.e. rugged and affordable) alongside the likes of Hotel de Goudfazant, Hartering and Aan de Amstel.
