CoBrA Museum of Modern Art
CoBrA was a revolutionary international art movement of young artists, who all shared a desire for new, experimental art. CoBrA’s member’s came from Copenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam, hence the name of the movement, which flourished in three short years from 1948 through 1951. The CoBrA Museum of Modern Art was founded to represent CoBrA’s spirit in a large collection of artworks and documentary material. The museum also houses major temporary exhibitions, all meant to share the CoBrA legacy with the public.
